Lindsay was born in London but came to live in Australia when he was seven. He's done a lot of travelling since and now lives and works in Buderim, Queensland.

When Lindsay was in his late teens he was lucky enough to work in one of Australia's finest antiquarian bookshops, an experience that triggered a fascination for old and unfamiliar things.

With a background in visual arts, he completed his BA at The University of the Sunshine Coast and went on to achieve first class Honours.

His honours thesis became his first published novel, The Mystery Of The Ruby Glasses, after Lothian Books liked what they saw and contracted it.

He's recently completed a Master of Creative Arts and still lectures in Creative Writing at The University of the Sunshine Coast.

His latest novel, still awaiting publication, is a Y/A Speculative fiction novel. It's a mixture of Sci/fi, Thriller and Mystery.

He lives with his family and feisty terrier, Jasper, the model for Shey's pet in the The Mystery Of The Ruby Glasses, Lindsay's first junior fiction book.
