The Mystery Of The Ruby Glasses was published in February 2007, by Lothian Books, Australia (now Hachette Livre).

The Mystery Of The Ruby Glasses is a quest story where the characters enter virtual worlds (paintings). The concept of travelling into paintings is not new but I hope that I’ve put an exciting and innovative slant on the idea. I wanted Shey, the central character, to be self reliant yet still have a close relationship with her uncle Ruben. By the end of the story she is a very different person than the one who began the adventure. So, what paintings did I decide to use as the main focus for the story and how were the characters brought to life?

Find out in "Constructing The Mystery Of The Ruby Glasses".
